Road crews had a busy weekend working to repair a washout of Peterborough County Road 620 west of Coe Hill.

Brent Goodwin says it looks like a pond “let go” about 8 p.m. April 3.  The rush of water damaged the highway near the Glen Alda Community centre.

North Kawartha Township and Peterborough County road crews were hauling loads of crushed stone to repair the roadway.

While 620 was closed, traffic could get to Apsley from Coe Hill, by taking County Road 504 the long way ’round.
