DRUG STORE BREAK IN
(North Kawartha Twp., ON) – On the morning of Wednesday July 8, 2009 officers responded to a break in at the Apsley Pharmacy on Burleigh Street.
The victim notified police that in the early morning hours, thieves forced entry into the building through the roof and stole approximately $6000 of prescription medication including: Dexedrine, Codeine Contin, Lomotil and numerous other drugs.
Thieves also stole approximately $500 in cash and caused property damage in excess of $1000.
Police have no suspects at this time
