Friday afternoon, there were three vendors at the market building selling home-made baking, vegetables and used videos.

Jessie Wilson said all the “local” produce — including potatoes, corn and beans — has been coming from Belleville area, because  crops in Coe Hill aren’t ready yet.  She expects local produce to be on tables later in the month.

This is the first year for the market.

Tables are available for rent Fridays 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Call Jessie at 613-474-1341 for information about the market and renting a table for the day or the season.
