Bancroft OPP investigate several house break-ins

BANCROFT – On Monday the 02nd of January 2012, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a theft from a residence on Cardiff Lake Road in the Municipality of Highlands East. Sometime between the 15th and 30th of December 2011 a BBQ was stolen from the property.

On the 02nd of January 2012, the Bancroft OPP was dispatched to a break and enter on Valleyview Drive in the Town of Bancroft. Investigation revealed that between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. an apartment was forcibly entered. Clothing and cigarettes were reported stolen from the residence.

On Tuesday the 03rd of January 2012, the Bancroft OPP received the report of a vehicle damaged at the North Hastings Community Center on Newkirk Boulevard in the Town of Bancroft. A purse was reported stolen from the vehicle.

On Saturday the 07th of January 2012, the Bancroft OPP received the report of a mischief on Old Hastings Road in Wollaston Township. Sometime since early December of 2011 a cabin was damaged.

On the 07th of January 2012, the Bancroft OPP was dispatched to a break and enter on Highway 62 in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands. Investigation revealed that on the evening of the 06th of January, the residence was forcibly entered and medication was stolen.
