The Library has three desktop computers, 2 colour inkjet printers and two black laser printers ready to go to good homes. Bids will be opened March 21st and items will be ready to go March 22, 2012.
COE HILL – Calling all local students, age four to 13! The Wollaston-Limerick Library needs your help to find a mascot. Draw, paint or cut and paste a picture of what you the mascot should be. Then bring your creation to the library for a chance to win prizes! Three finalists chosen Feb. 17. COE HILL – Advance tickets are on sale for a Pub Night Fundraiser in support of the Wollaston-Limerick Library. The evening features live music – rock and roll, new country and rhythm and blues performed by The Northern Stars. Admission of $15 includes gourmet pizza. COE HILL – An electronic book reader is the big prize in a fund raising raffle underway at the Wollaston-Limerick public library in Coe Hill. The Kobo e-reader touch is first prize in the draw, run by the Friends of the Wollaston-Limerick Library. Second prize is an oil painting by a local artist. Tickets cost $2 each, or three for $5. The draw is planned Dec. 3, 2011.
By Gail Dugas COE HILL – The July 2, 2011 Annual Giant Book Sale for the Public Library netted nearly $1,300 to purchase new books and equipment and support upcoming programs. The event was staffed by Friends of the Wollaston LImerick Public Library (FOWLL). “It drew a happy crowd looking for some summer reading at a great price.” said organizer Anne Ireland.
