COE HILL — Col. Donald J. Vance, author of “Remembering the Men of North Hastings Killed in the Great War,” will speak at the Coe Hill Legion on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at noon. COE HILL – Wollaston’s Heritage Committee wants to bring some local history home. A few years ago, tape recordings of interviews of local seniors were available to sign out from the local library. They gave us stories and historical facts that will be forgotten if not preserved, committee members say. Anyone who borrowed a tape and may have forgotten to return it is asked to please do so now. COE HILL — Looks like it’s going to be a busy start to the May 24 weekend in Coe Hill. Let’s hope the rain stays away. Wollaston Heritage is hosting a pancake breakfast 9 a.m. to noon at the legion. Book sale planned May 22 at Wollaston-Limerick library

COE HILL — Donations are still needed for a book sale May 22 to raise money for the Wollaston-Limerick public library. Drop them off at the library beside Coe Hill public school. Library hours are 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Friday (In July and August, the door also opens 10 a.m. 1 p.m on Saturdays.) The books sale runs 10 a.m. to 1 p.m on the Saturday of the Victoria Day Weekend.
