PETERBOROUGH – Over a period of about three months, 30-year-old Scott King forged 25 personal cheques as he stole more than $21,000 from a Coe Hill physician and his wife, The Peterborough Examiner reports. King pleaded guilty Tuesday in Ontario Court of Justice to fraud, uttering forged documents, two counts of failing to attend court and an unrelated theft from a grocery store.
