Private Charles Nelson Kelsh born in Coe Hill, died Aug. 25, 1918 during the First World War in France. He was 23 and a member of the 21st Bn., Canadian Infantry (Eastern Ontario Regiment). He was the son of Private Charles Nelson Kelsh born in Coe Hill, according information posted at the Canadian Great War project. Kelsh was buried at Dainville British Cemetery in France.
