Ontario Provincial Police press release BANCROFT — On the 25th of November 2011, the Bancroft OPP was dispatched to an ATV collision on Woodcox Road in Faraday Township. A 52 year old female of Faraday Township was transported to Quinte Healthcare North Hastings by a friend with minor injuries. No charges have been laid in relation to this collision. Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources press release PETERBOROUGH – Two Newmarket anglers have been fined a total of $3,000 for possessing too many fish. Sokhon Kim and Channy Kim each pleaded guilty to possessing more than their legal limit of bass and were each fined $1,500. The court heard that on September 10, 2011, a Ministry of Natural Resources conservation officer on patrol checked the couple as they were loading their vehicle. Ontario Provincial Police press release BANCROFT– On Monday the 31st of October 2011, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received the report of an ATV theft from a residence on Siddon Lake Place in Faraday Township. Sometime overnight a 1993 red Kawasaki ATV was stolen from the property. PETERBOROUGH – Over a period of about three months, 30-year-old Scott King forged 25 personal cheques as he stole more than $21,000 from a Coe Hill physician and his wife, The Peterborough Examiner reports. HAVELOCK – At approximately 9:41 A.M. Sat., Oct. 22, 2011, Provincial Police responded to a Break and Enter at a George Street Business in Havelock. Sometime between 5:00 P.M. Friday and 9:30 A.M.
