Got a summer reading list? The Coe Hill library might be able to help you complete it, with a fund-raising summer book sale on Sat., July 4. The sale is on 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you have books to donate, bring them along that morning… not before. If you miss the sale Saturday, the Friends of the Wollaston/Limerick Public Library will host another book sale Aug. 1.

Here’s a news report from Bancroft This Week: Coe Hill will throw the rootinest, tootinest, shootinest, ridin’ and ropin’ western show this side of number seven. At least that is what organizers of the first Coe Hill Wild West weekend hope for. Snowmobile poker run in Coe Hill Sat., Feb. 21

There’s a snowmobile poker run set for Saturday, Feb. 21. Register at the Wollaston Community Centre in Coe Hill between 9 a.m and 1 p.m. Run starts at 1 p.m.  Course will be revealed at registration.  Entry fee $10.  Prizes awarded at 4 p.m. OFSC trail permit mandatory.

Remember the Winter Warm Up is on today, Feb 14, 2009 Here’s what’s on, according to organizers: Please join us at the rink from 1 p.m. until dark. We will have family skating, games, an ice bike show and a bon-fire with chili and hot dogs at dusk. Free hot drink and cookies throughout the afternoon. Please bring camp chairs and marshmallows.
