FARADAY Twp – A Whitney man was badly hurt Wednesday in a crash on Highway 28 southwest of Bancroft, provincial police report. On Wednesday the 30th of June 2010 Officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, the Faraday and Bancroft Fire Departments and Emergency Medical Services responded to the report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 28 in Faraday Township. Bancroft OPP press releases MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION ON HIGHWAY 28 On Friday the 04th of June 2010, Officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and members of the Faraday Fire Department responded to the report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 28 in Faraday Township. Investigation revealed that a Chevrolet van was travelling south on Highway 28 and started to turn left into a private drive. A Buick car that was also travelling south on Highway 28 struck the rear of the van.

Bancroft OPP press release FARADAY Twp.  — On Monday the 10th of May 2010 the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to the report of a theft at Siddon Lake Place in Faraday Township. Investigation revealed that sometime overnight an aluminum boat and Evinrude outboard motor were stolen.
