Ontario Provincial police press release BANCROFT – On Monday the 02nd of January 2012, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a theft from a residence on Cardiff Lake Road in the Municipality of Highlands East. Sometime between the 15th and 30th of December 2011 a BBQ was stolen from the property. BANCROFT – During the week of January 02nd – January 08th 2012, the Bancroft OPP responded to seven car/deer collisions in the Bancroft detachment area. The collisions occurred on South Baptiste Lake Road in Hastings Highlands, Highway 118 in Highlands East, Highway 62 in Limerick Township, Highway 28 in Highlands East and Highway 28 in the Town of Bancroft.
