COE HILL — Drop-in yoga classes continue Monday nights this fall at the Coe Hill Dharma Centre in the heart of Coe Hill. Cost is $8 for all ages. Classes start at 6 p.m., says Barbara Shaw, owner of the centre. All abilities welcome. For people interested in yoga, but living  closer to Apsley, classes will be offered Wednesday in the United Church Hall on Burleigh Street.  The 6:30 p.m. classes start Sept. 30. COE HILL — Get your dog or cat vaccinated against rabies for $20 each Oct. 3 at the Wollaston Township works garage near the township offices. The clinic will run 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. It’s offered by offered by the Faraday Animal Hospital in co-operation with the Hastings & Prince Edward Counties Health Unit. Keep your dogs on a leash and cats in a carrier box. Rabies vaccination for cats and dogs is mandatory in Hastings  County. Reeve Dan McCaw recovering after heart surgery

Wollaston Township Reeve Dan McCaw recovering after heart surgery in Kingston June 10. Deputy Reeve Brent Goodwin says McCaw’s brother, George, passed along the news to township chief administrative officer Marilyn Brickles. McCaw had three stents placed in his heart and was recovering in the coronary care unit at hospital. Click here for information about coronary stents.
