COE HILL — Most power  seems to have been restored to the Coe Hill and Apsley areas as of 5:30 p.m. Sat., March 3, but hundreds of homes may not have electricity until Sunday afternoon, Hydro One says. Around 8,000 homes and businesses in the area south and southwest of Bancroft lost power overnight Friday into Saturday, as a windy winter storm swept through the area. Ontario Provincial Police press release PETERBOROUGH COUNTY– Officers from Peterborough County Detachment and members of the Smith-Ennismore Fire Department are reminding everyone yet again that no ice can be considered 100% safe for travel by any motorized recreational vehicle, automobile or truck at this time of year.
