Ontario Provincial Police press release NORTH KAWARTHA – On Wednesday July 13, 2011 at approximately 7:50 P.M. Provincial Police responded to an Animal Complaint on County Road 504 east of the Village of Apsley. Source:  Ontario Government press release PETERBOROUGH – Dr. Peter Clark, Regional Supervising Coroner for East Region, Peterborough Office, announced April 28, 2011 that an inquest will be held into the death of Justin Rogers. Mr. Rogers, 22, died on August 20, 2008 of injuries sustained during the course of his employment at a Talc mine near Madoc, Ontario. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
