Coe Hill’s summer camp looks like it was a blast this week for 44 kids.
An end-of -camp barbecue is planned today, when two “low rider” bicycles will be awarded to a couple of lucky children, says camp organizer Maryann Post.
She passed along some photos of the week so far, with the following comments:
“We had Barbara Shaw volunteer her time to do a Yoga instruction with the children, and from the moves she taught they played some fun games. Every child absolutely loved this.”
“The children had delicious lunches catered everyday. Picture attached was “Choose Life and Live” they prepared a yummy vegan lunch for the camp”
“Sherry Bickle stopped in and surprised the kids with yet another challenge. Sherry handed out coloring sheets of the Wild West Weeekend famous mascot! Each child will have a chance to enter their art and win a prize!”
“The picture of the quilt blocks is a craft the children worked hard on and we will be selling raffle tickets at the Wild West Weekend and entering it into the Coe Hill Fair!”
