$6,000 in drugs taken during Apsley Pharmacy break-in

(North Kawartha Twp., ON) – On the morning of Wednesday July 8, 2009 officers responded to a break in at the Apsley Pharmacy on Burleigh Street.opp-logo

The victim notified police that in the early morning hours, thieves forced entry into the building through the roof and stole approximately $6000 of prescription medication including: Dexedrine, Codeine Contin, Lomotil and numerous other drugs.

Thieves also stole approximately $500 in cash and caused property damage in excess of $1000.

Police have no suspects at this time
