COE HILL – John Brady, 66, of Coe Hill passed away the morning of Sept. 8, 2009 at Bancroft Hospital, Brent Goodwin reports.
John lived for many years at the rear of apartment of Milo’s building across from the Country Kitchen restaurant, where he was a frequent customer.
John was for many years was the handyman at the Red Eagle Tent and Trailer Park.
John is pictured sitting on his apartment deck watching the Warriors Day parade pass by on Sunday.
Also passing this weekend was a local Bancroft businessman who operated Fox Cleaners until a few years ago. Dale Fox died Friday after the ATV he was riding struck a culvert near his home in Bird’s Creek.

ATV Collision – Update
BANCROFT — On the evening of Friday the 04th of September 2009 Officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to the report of an ATV collision on Bird Lake Road in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands.
Investigation revealed that an Arctic Cat ATV was travelling northbound on Birds Lake Road when it entered the ditch, ejecting the driver.
The male driver, 52 year old Dale Fox of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands was transported by ambulance to Quinte Healthcare North Hastings with serious injuries. He was subsequently air lifted to Kingston General Hospital by air ambulance.
On Saturday the 05th of September Mr. Fox succumbed to his injures. The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
