Minor injuries, no charges after Hwy 28 crash Sunday

Collision on Highway 28 Sends Two People to Hospital

BANCROFT — On the Sunday the 31st of January 2010 Officers from the Bancroft OPP responded to the report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 28 in the Municipality of Highlands East. Investigation revealed that a Pontiac car was travelling north bound on Highway 28 when it skidded and came to a stop.

A Chevrolet car that was travelling behind the Pontiac car skidded into it.

The driver of the Pontiac, a 32 year old female of Hamilton, Ontario did not sustain any injuries.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 66 year old female of Maynooth, Ontario and the passenger a 70 year old female of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands, Ontario sustained minimal injuries. Both were transported to Quinte Healthcare North Hastings by ambulance.

No charges have been laid in relation to the collision.
