$68,000 requested to run healthy events in Coe Hill area

COE HILL – A funding application for $68,000 has been submitted to the Ministry of Health through the Healthy Community Funding Initiative. The events planned will benefit residents of Wollaston, Limerick, Tudor and Cashel Townships.

If funding is approved activities offered will be Mountain Biking, Adult and Youth Yoga classes, Adult and Youth Sport Theater, Snow Shoeing, Wellness Classes, Day Camps like the “Mystery Camp” and seasonal recreational opportunities such as soccer, basketball, ball hockey etc…The listed activities were selected by those who participated in the survey via e-mail/public meeting.

The Ministry of Health will contact us by mid July.

Meanwhile watch for and support opportunities being made to raise funds!
