Take a day or even two to experience a time from the past when the Coe Hill Wild West Committee will create an atmosphere of how it once was in the old west.

An old west town complete with bank, mercantile, jail, saloon, train station and exhibitors and scores of people in period costume will transport you back to a time from the past. Last year it seemed that all who came quickly fell into the mood slowed down and totally enjoyed the experience. There is something for everyone from the young to the more mature and all those in between.

But please don’t get the wrong impression there is plenty of excitement too. Horse events, games on horseback, wagon rides, panning for gold, petting zoo, bank robberies, jail breaks, quick draw contest and much more are all part of the plans for this year’s event.

There will be food booths throughout the day, a western dinner on Saturday night followed by a dance with the Faron Brown Jr. band. If you live close to the fairgrounds there may even be transportation available to take you home at the end of the day’s activities.

So pardner saddle up your hoss and ride on over to the Coe Hill Fairgrounds on July 31 st. and August 1st., for the time of your life, or better yet call (613) 337-8740 to book your tickets now at www.coehillwildwestweekend.ca to receive a $2 discount on admission.

Admission is $10 for adults, children under 12 are free and for students with ID and seniors the fee is $8. Dance and dinner are extra.

See ya all there.
