Someone doesn’t like speed traps on Hwy 115

CAVAN MONAGHAN Twp – On Friday May 21, 2010 Provincial Police are investigating damage to both north and south bound lanes of Highway115 between Tapley Quarter Line and Highway 7A.

Sometime overnight, vandals covered over approximately 26 sets of Highway markers with a black tar like substance.

These markings are used by the Ontario Provincial Police Aircraft Interdiction Unit to monitor vehicle speed on Highway 115.

No estimate of repair and replacement cost is available at this time.
