OPP run laser speed traps set on Highway 7 near Madoc

MADOC, ON – On Saturday members of the Central Hastings detachment conducted LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) enforcement on Highway #7, Madoc Township.

There were 28 drivers charged with speeding, the highest speed recorded was 129 km/hr.

Police will continue to utilize the speed measurement device to patrol local roads.
