COE HILL — Organizers have started putting up wood decorations at the fairgrounds in preparation for the second annual Coe Hill Wild West Weekend, July 31 and Aug. 1, 2010.
The western themed event includes horse back riding displays, food and music. Bus service is planned between Bancroft and Coe Hill, so nobody has to drive home after the party.
And after hanging out in the wild west, why not do a little prospecting during the 47th annual Rockhound Gemboree in Bancroft. Events in Canada’s largest gem and mineral show started July 29 and continue through Aug. 1.
The Community Cupboard Health and Welness Expo is July 31st at North Hastings Senior Elementary School. Bring a non-perishable food item to fill the canoe. Admission just $2.
Also in Bancroft over the weekend is the annual Bancroft arts and craft guild show in Millennium Park, along with the Community Cupboard health and wellness expo on Saturday only in the North Hastings Senior Secondary School.
