Crossbow, ATVs, generator stolen in Bancroft-area break-ins

LIMERICK Twp — A crossbow was stolen from a house along Highway 62 in Limerick Township, Bancroft OPP report.

Police were called July 31, 2010. Also missing were three canvas lawn chairs.

On Monday, Aug. 2, thieves were busy in Carlow-Mayo Township.  Police were called to a garage break-in on Reber Road.

Two Honda all-terrain vehicles, a generator and a trolling motor were taken.

On Fri., July 30, 2010 Bancroft provincial police also investigated damage to a camp on Paddy Road in  Hastings Highlands. Three windows and a door were damaged on a building, and two more windows damaged on a trailer.

Sometime between the afternoon of July 22 and July 23, 2010, a residence was broken into on Tannery Road, Madoc Township, Central Hastings OPP report.

A door was pried open and a large metal break called a “Port-O-Bender” was taken. It has a value of $2000.
