Police arrest man riding horse on Clydesdale Road

NORTH KAWARTHA Twp. – Police arrested a man riding a horse on Clydesdale Road near Apsley on Sun., Sept. 19, 2010.

Provincial police were called 9:10 P.M. to a report of a traffic hazard on County Road 620.  Motorists said they almost hit a horse and rider.  The motorists were concerned about the safety of them both, Peterborough County OPP report.

Police found the horse and rider on Clydesdale Road, northeast of Apsley.  The rider, a 32 year old man from RR 1 Aplsey, was charged with two counts of breach of probation, police say.
