Break-ins, thefts and found bike keep OPP busy in Madoc

MADOC – On Nov. 5, 2010 Central Hastings OPP charged a Frankford man, age 22, with break and enter and criminal harassment after an investigation into a domestic dispute.

A Madoc Township residence was broken into and there were reports of  repetitive unwanted contact from a former partner.

Sometime between the Oct. 29, 2010 and Nov. 5, 2010 10 a black Arctic plough harness, lights and pump were removed from the back of a truck while parked at the end of Lingham Lake Rd. near Bannockburn, police report.  Gas was also siphoned from this truck as well as two others.

The morning of Nov 4, 2010,  Central Hastings OPP investigate a break and enter to a shed on a property in Madoc.  Sometime overnight items were taken, including an air compressor, electric motor and brad nailer.

Nov. 5, 2010 a bicycle was found north of Madoc and was turned in to Central Hastings OPP. If you think it’s yours, call the police station and give a description of your bike to claim it.
