Kemp’s Shell station destroyed by fire in Apsley

APSLEY – Kemp’s Shell station in Apsley was destroyed by fire Wed., Dec. 1, 2010.

North Kawartha firefighters and provincial police were called at 3:59 a.m. to the intersection of Burleigh and Wellington streets, Peterborough County OPP report.

The building was engulfed in flames when emergency services arrived.

An Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office investigator is probing the cause of the fire, OPP report.
