Faraday man dies after snowmobile crash in Carlow-Mayo

BANCROFT – A Faraday Township man died after two snowmobiles crashed Wed., Dec. 22, 2010 in Carlow-Mayo Township, east of Bancroft.

About 10 :3o p.m.  two snowmobiles crashed on private property along Bessemer Road, Bancroft Provincial Police report.  An Arctic Cat Wildcat 650 and Arctic Cat Firecat 700 collided.

The driver of the  Wildcat, Bradley Easton, 23, of Faraday Township, died at hospital in Bancroft.

The driver of the Firecat, Joshua Prentice, 20 of Bancroft, was taken to Bancroft hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries, police report. A passenger, a 17 year old female of Bancroft, wasn’t hurt.

Investigation into the collision is ongoing, police say.
